![]() So for me xcom(2) is more difficult by far, when you understand the mechanics of darkest dungeon and know the right kill orders for example it becomes pretty easy. This is the very first Warhammer 40,000 game I actually LOVEXCOM meets Darkest Dungeon with unique resources based tactical combat. the core rules like using cover and flanking are learned very fast, but for example to minimoze the risk to not pull additional enemies in random generated maps needs much more experience because there is no ideal blue print for it unlike in dd there is unlike in dd mostly not a perfect way to play and you have to adapt from round to round and change your approach. I can get this with DLC for 75, the last XCOM with DLC for 50, or DD for 25. Think I want to try one of the XCOM games or Darkest Dungeon. On the other side xcom has way more variables, often you have to choose between just bad options and in xcom the rng can not only ruin your mission, it can ruin your whole game. I'm trying to decide on which game to buy this year. it has a steep learning curve but not a very high skill level. so its much easier to learn to play the game nearly perfect in the most effective way. For me the possibilities in darkest dungeon are far more limited and the rng has less impact. ![]()
